The IT Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving all IT issues - whether hardware or software-related - and providing feedback within the agreed upon times to the IT Helpdesk Operators, as well as both internal and external stakeholders alike.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues

- Provide support where needed, in terms of queries and resolving issues surrounding any servers

- Install and configure software, hardware as well as PCs and laptops

- Maintenance: Ensure systems are backed up and that all clones are in working order

- Document all tasks and duties

Minimum Requirements:

- Matric / Grade 12

- Technical qualification, A+, N+, MCSE

- MCTS, LINUX + / LPIC. CCNA and Security + would be advantageous.

- Ubuntu, Linux, Windows, Debian, OTRS

- Excellent understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

- IT Support experience - at least 1 year in resolving software and hardware problems

- Technical training in soft- and hardware systems used.

- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
