Senior Position

A Java Developer Team Lead position exists within a Foreign Exchange environment. The platform requires above average technical skills. We are looking for an exceptional leader to lead a team of highly skilled experts.

Responsibilities:
• Implement according to functional specification
• Development, maintenance and execution of source code of high quality
• Alignment to development standards and quality standards
• Bring legacy systems in line with current best practices and technologies
• Architecture: documenting data models, deployment model updates
• Leadership and mentorship of team members

Qualification & Experience:
• B.Comm, B.Eng, BSC Eng, BSC Informatics or related degree
• Excellent understanding and practical experience in programming (Object Orientated language)
• Excellent understanding and practical experience in using Java /J2EE
• Understanding and experience in using J2EE application server i.e. Websphere
• Knowledge and experience in using UML
• Database Server i.e. DB2/SQL/Oracle knowledge and experience
• Experience using XML, LDAP, Design Tool i.e. XDE, Servlets, Internet development
• Minimum four 4-6 years of experience in programming and system design
