My Client is a leading provider of integrated software, services and hardware systems within the retail sector. They are currently seeking a Senior Developer who is looking for career progression and the option to move into Team Leader roles.

Your key responsibilities would be to:
* Modify, develop, test and implement applications to solve business problems.
* Participate in the evaluation of application systems, processes and requirements, recommends changes to those systems and maintains them where necessary.
* Follow industry best-practice when developing applications and can justify design and development decisions based upon industry experience.
* Work as part of a project team to develop and test enterprise-ready business applications in a variety of configurations.
* Work with QA Analysts to develop testing plans, help Database Developers design databases and work alongside Business Analysts to identify and specify business requirements and translates these requirements into technical specifications.

Skills/Experience

Experience in Java, JavaScript, JQuery, Junit, Tomcat, Spring, Agile
Experience working in retail would also be an advantage
