The following new position is based in Stellenbosch.

Reporting to the Team Leader you'll be involved in the maintenance and expansion of the system architecture, designing and implementing software system components, integrating components from multiple suppliers, etc.

You'll therefore need a B degree or equivalent in Computer Science or similar, plus a minimum of one years' proven experience in Java development demonstrating, most importantly, your ability to work in a systematic, detail-conscious manner. Java programming experience up to Java 7 and at least 2 years' with Spring and SpringREST/Security.  Hibernate, SQL, PostgreSQL 9.3 and PostGIS extensions are also needed along with front-end web technologies know-how:  Java Script, Angular JS, html, Css, development tooling/infrastructure, Scrum or Kanban.
