Education:

Grade 12 or equivalent

Work experience:

Previous experience in the same or similar position in a 4/5 star hotel
Familiar with all duties and procedures in the Events Maintenance Department
Third language is advantageous

Other:

Reliable, responsible and dependable to fulfil obligations
Willingness to work overtime and on public holiday as required

Tasks (include but not limited to):

Set up of venues in different configurations
Knowledge of principles for providing customer service
Taking orders for food and beverage from guests
Ensure facilities and equipment are in optimal condition
Maintain high standards of working area and events premises
Make optimal use of materials without wastage
