A reputable investment bank specialising in emerging markets with a wide global footprint is looking for a Compliance Assistant in their Johannesburg office. This fast growing company creates opportunities for investors looking to invest regionally and internationally and for international investors looking for opportunities in emerging markets.

The main purpose of the position is to assist with the compliance function and the implementation of new legislative or business changes. Review draft mandates and investment guidelines for compliance purposes and follow up on outstanding mandates and investment guidelines. Monitor compliance with mandates and investment guidelines within reporting timeframes to clients and management.

To apply for this role you need to meet the following criteria

- Postgraduate Diploma in Compliance Management and / Legal degree advantageous
- FSB Approved Compliance Officer
- Experience in FAIS Category I and Category III licenses
- Experience in CISCA
- Experience in JSE Listing Requirements
- At least three years' experience in the compliance / risk environment
