My client in Pinelands (Cape Town), a unique entertainment company, is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team.

Minimum requirements:

Matric
3-5 years’ experience in bookkeeping to balance sheet
Relevant financial qualification
Used to work and liaise with SARS (VAT declarations, etc)
Experience working on Pastel or Accounting / ERP systems
Knowledge of Sage
Payroll experience
Be able to handle purchases
Must have experience in Retail (not negotiable)
Own transport - advantageous
Fluent in AFRIKAANS and ENGLISH
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Team player but very independent.
Might also be required to handle stock order on a weekly basis.

The ideal candidate will be well versed to in all aspects of looking after books.

Salary on offer: R10k - R13k (depending on experience)
