Job Description:
My client, a financial services and investment concern. They are seeking to employ a Junior Accountant to assist the Financial Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurate and timely data capturing and amendments to financial data up to Trial Balance
Processing of customer and supplier invoices, credit notes and reconciliations
Processing of bank transactions and reconciliations
Liaison with other departments to attend to customer disputes
Preparing of payment requisitions
Ensure all information is comprehensive and accurate
Adhoc department duties and tasks

The ability to prioritise tasks and complete them systematically and timeously
The ability to function as part of a team and work under pressure
Basic knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures
Good communication skills
Be bilingual (English / Afrikaans)

REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Relevant tertiary qualification (diploma/degree)
Min 4 years accounting experience
Experience in a Financial Service or Banking environment and advantage
System experience (Pastel, Excel)
Own transport and drivers licence
