Working with the Financial Manager. The role will include:

• bookkeeping to bank reconciliation (general ledger processing: journals, cashbook and customer invoices)
• invoicing of debtors
• credit control
• supplier reconciliations and queries
• banking (payments and transfers)
• international payments
• preparation, submission and queries of VAT returns
• stationery, paper and grocery orders
• adhoc accounting queries
• filing

Minimum qualification/experience required for this position
• Matric
• bookkeeping course or studying towards a bookkeeping qualification
• 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping/creditors clerk role
• Working knowledge of Pastel
