A national supply company is looking to add a professional, driven Junior Buyer to their great team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager the incumbent will form part of the Procurement Department.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Commerce or similar business related qualification
• Ability to function independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail coupled with strong analytical and reasoning skills.
• Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel proficiency
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Responsibilities:

• The handling of all communications with suppliers regarding orders as well as negotiating price, discount and delivery delay
• Adhering to cost allocations expenditure procedures and supply chain principles
• Monitoring of stock levels and forecasting future stockholdings
• Liaise with the various sales teams
• Communicate with the various warehouse departments
