Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• BSc Degree or similar (with programming as a major)
  • Honours a definite advantage
• Minimum 2 years development experience
• .Net C#
  • MVC
  • Gang of four patterns
  • Entity framework or similar
• SQL
  • Stored procedures
  • Triggers
  • Normalisation
• Previous financial / actuarial industry experience
• Short term insurance industry experience a definite advantage
• Portfolio of previous successful projects required

Job Description:

• System analysis
• System maintenance
• Scrum and agile methodology in two week sprint cycles
• Correct recording of data on internal applications
• Correct recording of user stories on TFS
• Maintenance of working solutions
• Accountability for solutions provided
• Ability to self manage and perform in a team environment
• Ability to meet own and team deadlines
• Storing  and updating information
