JUNIOR FINANCIAL MANAGER – SOMERSET WEST

Small, dynamic and innovative company which is focussed on systems and payments within the financial services industry is looking for an entrepreneurial FM to join their team

Responsibilities:

• Strong financial focus and responsibly for managing the financial, secretarial, legal & compliance elements of the business
• Overall responsibility for all payments in the business including managing the debtors and creditors of the business as well as the day to day expenses
• Produce the monthly management reports
• Manage the payroll system
• Manage all SARS related issues including VAT and PAYE as well as annual audit process
• Overall responsible for all corporate and compliance issues, as well as legal registry
• Responsible for direct report of debtors’ clerk
• Special project lead
• Assist CEO / business will driving any special or new projects in the business
• General monthly reporting and analysis of clients
• Strong focus on value-add bespoke reporting and analysis to enable client engagement and value add, to support the business strategy

Requirements:

• Relevant B degree
• Articles, or 3-5 years relevant work experience
• Familiarity with Sage Payroll and Xero accounting software a distinct advantage
• Must be able to work in the Helderberg area
• Driven person and out the box thinker
• Flexible in terms of hours and ability to travel
• Client engagement skills
• Ability to manage people
• Willing to learn the business to support management with day to day functioning of business
• Entrepreneurial spirit
