The Graphic Designer is one of 2 personnel in the graphics department. It is the responsibility of the Graphic Designer to obtain final client artwork approval of digital illustrations of products and product branding.

A monthly average of 200 customer artwork approvals will be managed by the Graphic Designer.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Artwork Approval:
Prepare graphic illustrations of products as per contract specifications.
Obtain artwork illustrations from supplier.
Review supplier artwork and compare to customer requirements.
Send artwork to customers to be approved.
Ensure artwork approval takes place on a timely basis to ensure sufficient time for production to be completed on the required date of delivery.
Send approved artwork to suppliers.
Carry out artwork changes when required.
Communication:

Liaise on a regular basis with the Production Coordinator and communicate artwork approval progress.
Regular feedback on the artwork progress should be communicated to sales consultants.
Sent progress notification to customers at critical production stages.
Facilitate communication between the company, the customers and suppliers regarding the artwork of a contract.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Essential:
Corel Draw, Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop
Graphic designing techniques.

EDUCATION:
Essential
Grade 12.
Graphic designing or related course.

REMUNERATION:
Basic Salary:
Minimum R9000
Maximum R11000
