Position: Junior IT Solutions Specialist
Location: Durbanville
Salary: R10 000 – R14 000 basic p/m neg exp
Company benefits to be added on basic salary.
Industry: Established IT company

Core role: Support Sales Team with pre-sales support & specific solution designs & presentations for client

Educational requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma in one or more of the following: Informatics, Computer Science or Electronics
• A+ & N+ qualification
• Networks, Telecommunications and/or Security related qualifications (CCNA, MSCE, Linux Admin)
• Business/System Analysis Diploma

Experience and skills:

• 1 – 2 Years’ networking experience
• Good client & sales skills
• Networks, Telecommunications and/or Security experience
• Able to assist Sales via Channel Partners as well as clients directly
• Technical consultative selling, using network technologies understanding to assist clients with solutions
• Good technical understanding of Networks, Security and general IT concepts
• Report/ proposal writing skills will be beneficial

Other requirements
• High degree of aptitude in the IT environment
• Passion for networking technology
• Understanding of the Management of IT and IT Infrastructure
• Strong presentation skills (Fluent English on verbal, written & technical level)
• Business Insight and strong consideration for ROI
• Strong influencing skills & network building skills
• Attention to detail and producing quality work
• Team orientated & ability to work independently
• Able to work under pressure

Other requirements
• Understand monitoring technologies e.g. taps, packet brokers, performance monitors, Fault/ Performance/ Configuration management software
• Responsible for maximizing value of product to clients
• Responsible for representing the customer’s requirements
• Build & maintain relations with stakeholders (Services, Development, Clients)
• Product/module specialist (user)
• Conduct Operators Training for clients
• Monthly Reports on Progress/Timelines
• Product literature including demo & presentation materials per module
• Assist Marketing with marketing support
