Mpumalanga – Luxury 4* guest lodge situated within a Private Plains Game Reserve seeks a suitably qualified and experience Junior Management Couple to assist with the daily operations and management of the lodge. Duties include:-Daily management of the lodge and all aspectsStaff management and developmentDelegating staff dutiesOverseeing staff duties on a daily basisAssisting with HR & IR related proceduresGuest liaisonMeeting and greeting guests upon arrival at the lodgeLodge and room orientation with guestsHandling guest complaints and queriesEnsuring total guest satisfactionRelated administrationFull management and control of the lodge in the absence of the Lodge ManagersAssisting in all departments of the lodge when requiredRunning the front office and front desk (guest check ins and outs)Quality control of accommodationCompiling invoicesHandling guest paymentsAssisting with meal serviceStock controlBar duties when requiredBasic financial management and controlTown trips (shopping for the lodge)Stock controlOrdering stockGuiding guests on activitiesGeneral reserve maintenanceHousekeeping managementF&B ManagementReporting to the Lodge Management Couple on a daily basis Requirements include:-Minimum 2 years’ experience in a junior management position at a luxury lodge or similarPrevious experience running a Lodge or Camp essentialGrade 12 (Matric)Relevant hospitality tertiary qualification or similarUnendorsed drivers licence essentialGood command of the English languageMust be computer literate on MS Office suiteGuest relation skillsGood staff motivator skillsPassionate about guest delightAttention to detailDiligence and self-motivation to meet deadlinesPlease send through copies of your qualifications with letters of reference as well as a head and shoulders photograph of yourself with your application.This is a couples position.
