To supplement the existing oracle support team working with technologies such as:
? Oracle Application Express
? Oracle Forms and Reports
? Oracle PL/SQL (Oracle database 11g, 12c)
? Oracle E-Business Suite 11i / R12
? Oracle BI Publisher
? Oracle XML Publisher
? Oracle 11i workflow

Minimum Requirements:
? 2 Years’ experience working as an Oracle developer using some or all of the above technologies.
? Experience with Oracle PL/SQL procedural language is essential.
? IT Diploma/Degree is preferable.

Key Deliverables of the Role:
? Resolution of support calls/issues in accordance with the defined service level agreement.
? Issues are identified and resolved pro-actively; where issues are identified re-actively these issues are analyzed and resolved or escalated to the appropriate resource timeously.
? Reduction in support calls through root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
? Development done on any change requests adheres to the standards which are defined by and adhered to by the Oracle team. These standards relate to development standards and documentation methodology used.

Key Activities of the Role:
? Support of new and existing Oracle PL/SQL procedural logic
? Support of new and existing Oracle Application Express applications / reports.
? Support of new and existing Oracle Forms and Reports.
? Utilisation of ITSM tools to render support to end users.
? Adherence to IT processes from a change and release perspective.
