My client, a manufacturing concern in Bellville, is seeking to employ a Junior Product Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering Diploma or B Tech / Degree to be responsible for all product support tests, assessment and improvements

Key Performance Areas 

• Production Support – on new / existing product assessment, testing and improvement
• Technical Analysis – analysis of existing products, and related components
• Research and Development – of new / existing products  

 Knowledge

• Technical hands on approach – on the floor (workshop / plant)
• Knowledge / experience of engineering practices,
• Interpretation and understanding of technical designs, drawings, and materials
• Past experience of maintenance / projects department or similar role
• Understanding of (Manufacturing) working environment,

• Microsoft Office – (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)

 Experience / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 - 2  years experience in similar role
