Junior Sales Representative

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Managing senior key accounts within the plastics manufacturing industries as well as developing new business within the allocated area.
• Arranging customer meetings and marketing all relevant products to the customers.
• Negotiating pricing and contracts with customers.
• Assisting in compiling annual and monthly budgets and ensuring annual sales targets are met and driving growth within the allocated regions.
• Compiling and implementing marketing strategies.
• Drafting and presenting presentations.
• Attending all conferences and exhibitions as required and arranging seminars as needed.
Minimum requirements or the role:
• Minimum matric, a related tertiary qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 1 – 2 years’ sales experience within a B2B environment is essential.
• Minimum 1 – 2 years’ Engineering Polymer experience is essential.
• It is essential to have a good understanding of the different plastics.
• It is essential to understand the plastics packaging industry.
• Must be attention to detail and precise.
• Must have a strong sales force and be target driven.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy is essential.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained
