Our client requires the service of a Junior Software Developer.

Key performance areas:

? Developing of software components for product pipelines, e.g. interfaces with cameras and lasers, inter component communication, interfaces with databases and industrial protocols like OPC.
? Developing of automated deployment mechanisms and health monitoring capabilities using IOT technologies
? Assist with product deployments and upgrades including configuring of cameras and lasers, configuring of software components
? Writing of unit tests, systems tests and setup of Gitlab CI pipelines
? Adhering and contributing to company QA processes.

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering with software development subjects.
? Experience in object orientated software development in C++ and Python.
? Experience with test automation, e.g. TDD, CI.
? Knowledge of Agile software development processes.
? Experience with SQL and Redis
? Experience with GIT and GITLAB.
? Experience with containers and IOT frameworks like Azure IOT Edge
? Motivated, quick learner, enthusiastic, personality and aptitude to take initiative.
? Willing to learn and gain experience and share the learning with colleagues (i.e. team player).
? Ability to communicate effectively.
? Ability to work individually and within a team
