Junior SQL Server DBA
A well-established company within the IT industry based in Bellville is looking to employ an experience and qualified Junior SQL Server DBA

Main duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):
The primary focus of this position is to administrate, configure, monitor and maintain SQL Server databases. You will need to be helpful and supportive to your team and fellow developers. You join an energetic, focused and dynamic team.
Install, configure and upgrade databases
Monitor and maintain all databases environments
Ensure that backup and recovery plans and procedures are implemented and tested regularly
Ensure that security is implemented and maintained
Assist developers with performance tuning on databases
Support developers with any database related requests or incidents

Tertiary qualification in IT
+- 3 Years SQL Server experience
Knowledge of Oracle databases will be beneficial
Previous development experience will be to your advantage
