Jnr Stock Controller/Buyer

You will be responsible for ensuring various targets are met through accurate planning and forecasting, controlling systems and procedures, communicating and liaising internally and externally and managing costs.

Requirements:
• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Diploma in Inventory Management – advantageous
• Knowledge of using Pastel with regards to stock

Key Responsibilities:
• Ordering of stock
• Unpacking and confirming stock received
• Measure and evaluate stock activity levels for re-ordering purposes
• Maintain stock at agreed minimum maximum levels
• Ensuring stock availability is in line with production requirements
• Ensuring regular stock takes and reporting on discrepancies between actuals & the companies accounting system
• Ensuring that all stock invoices are delivered to the finance department timeously
• Ensuring all stock documentation is updated and corresponds with production requirements
• Closing of jobs & detailed reporting on material used
• Arranging transport to and from plant
• Perform all administration required for the position
• Maintaining a well-organized and accurate filing system.
• Assist with ad-hoc admin duties as and when required.
