we are now seeking a Junior/Intermediate Traffic Manager to join our dynamic Marketing Department. Our ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 4 years of relevant experience with facilitating creative and effective workflow planning across different departments. The analytic-minded and people-centric Traffic Manager will be responsible for meticulously providing operational and administrative support to the Design, Multimedia, Content, Social Media and Project Management teams. Reporting directly to our Project Manager and interacting closely with our Creative Director and CMO, our Traffic Manager will play an integral role in the development, execution and launch of exciting and enticing projects, like the Lindt Rhino campaign for World Rhino Day 2017, the Africa’s Photographer of the Year competition and the recently launched Botswana Campaign.

The Traffic Manager role will cover a broad range of responsibilities, which will include, but not be limited to the following:

Planning and managing the workflow through the creative departments
Liaising between our content, multimedia, design, social media and project departments to ensure workloads are distributed appropriately and effectively
Handling and coordinating requests from various departments (Sales and Product) ensuring that delivery is on time and according to the brief
Holding weekly status meetings and managing the daily schedule of the creative teams
Updating and informing the project manager and relevant stakeholders about project statuses and identifying any issues
Arranging all internal reviews with our project manager, creative director, CMO and other stakeholders
Overseeing the creative output and ensuring that projects are on track and on time
Ensuring timely development and execution of campaigns and projects
Creating a monthly forecast to ensure best practices of planning
Reporting back on success metrics (KPIs) for each project
Working closely with our project manager to manage priorities effectively
Assisting the project manager with the briefing and debriefing processes
Managing, monitoring and updating our project management tool to create transparency across projects
REQUIREMENTS

Our ideal Traffic Manager will possess:

A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in a related field
1 - 4 years (maximum) of relevant experience in an advertising agency or digital industry
The ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines
Excellent organisational skills with a slight tendency to OCD
The tenacity to handle stress with ease and keep a cool head in the eye of the storm
A knack for people management - You know the ins and outs of your team members and use this to get the best possible outcome for all projects
Excellent prioritisation skills - You know the balance between what’s important and what’s urgent and you are able to manage your team accordingly
A thorough understanding of the creative process
Effective and proactive communication skills - You’ve mastered the art of thinking ahead
The expertise to manage our project management tools with ease
