An opportunity exists for a Key Account Manager in the Marketing Team of a global manufacturer of animal feed materials and animal feed additives. The position will be based in UMBOGINTWINI. Flexibility regarding travel to other parts of South Africa will be required for the role.

An opportunity exists for a Key Account Manager in the Marketing Team of a global manufacturer of animal feed materials and animal feed additives. The position will be based in UMBOGINTWINI. Flexibility regarding travel to other parts of South Africa will be required for the role. 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Service and support of Key Customer Accounts in South Africa
• Achieve sales targets
• Customer Service to existing & new customers
• Introduction of other Industrial Products into the SA market
• Support Marketing Manager
• Assist with development & implementation of marketing strategy
• Assist with collection of revenue from sales &  follow up on outstanding debtors
• Manage costs  
• General sales administration & reporting 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing (or any other relevant tertiary qualification).
• At least 5 years’ strong commercial experience in a senior commercial role
• Previous working experience in Agricultural Sales will be a distinct advantage
• Computer Literacy - Microsoft office essential
• Strong negotiation skills (high influence)
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English
• Holder of a clean valid driver’s license
