Key Account Manager

Our client requires the services of a Key Account Manager to ensure the procurement of deciduous fruit to support the marketing requirements of the company.

Key performance areas:
? Implement the integrated strategic direction for the company and ensure alignment with the divisional strategies
? Grow, maintain and improve the deciduous grower base supplying fruit to the company
? Ensuring that procurement activities is in line with the marketing requirements of the fruit division’s marketing entities and that producer’s income is maximized
? Maintain and improve the quality profile within the company’s deciduous growers
? Manage producer loans
? Manage accurate weekly crop estimates and packing of programs

The successful candidate must have:
? Matric with a Degree or Diploma in Marketing / Commerce / Agriculture
? Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in Procurement, Sales and Marketing
? Relevant understanding and experience in international fruit trading
? Computer literate (MS Office)
? Strong ability to procure according to demand plans and using initiative and influence when demands are not being met
? Ability to work independently, as well as with a broad spectrum of internal and external customers
? Excellent communication, persuasive, presentation, negotiation and relationship building skills
? Strong business acumen
? Ability to lead and deal with conflict and criticism
