A vacancy exists at a Pretoria based company for a Key Account Manager. The positions will be suitable for a highly motivated and self-disciplined individual with experience in managing key accounts in the Health Care and Pharmaceutical Industries. The purpose of the position is to manage & maintain the relationship with key clients as assigned

The successful candidate must have solid business acumen. Must be able to build and maintain solid relationships. Must be able to take accountability, have good leadership skills, be accurate, working towards deadlines, able to analyze challenges and identify suitable solutions. He or she must have excellent inter personal and communication skills as well as sound knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical products and service offerings.

The position is an itinerant position and the person will be required to travel to travel to visit clients and client sites. The position will be based in Pretoria but traveling may include national travel.

Key Outputs:

· Conducting customer visits
· Conducting monthly business reviews with customer groups
· Define KAM strategy & implementation thereof
· Monthly/weekly reporting
· Meet/exceed sales objectives
· Grow existing business
· Be the key interface between the company and the customer

Reporting structure
· He/she will report directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager

Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree (marketing or commerce)
· Grade 12
· Fully Bi-lingual
· 3-5 years in a similar role within the pharmaceutical, healthcare or FMCG industry, servicing key customer groups such as hospitals.
· Drivers license (EB - Unrestricted)
