One of the leading pharmaceutical laboratories operating throughout Africa is seeking a Laboratory Manager for their Cape Town based lab.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Chemistry
5 - 7 Years Pharmaceutical related lab experience
A minimum of 3 years' management experience
Must have GLP knowledge
Prior quality assurance experience
Good interpersonal skills and ability to manage a team effectively
Ability to plan, organize and implement activities of team in a pressured environment
Must be able to work shifts, weekends, public holidays etc.

Responsibilities:
Staff management and development
Ensuring all laboratory activities are achieved
Monitoring maintenance and calibration of equipment
Investigation and resolving customer complaints
Overseeing asset management and procurement of goods
Implement and maintain laboratory accreditation
Reporting on all activities within the laboratory
Validating new equipment and conceptualising methods to ensure continuous advancement
