Supports the safe and effective execution of the testing, evaluating and reporting of product quality in accordance with standard operating procedures and relevant regulations. Oversees and monitors the preparation and analysis of ore samples and manages the laboratory information management system.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent (NQF 6).
5 years’ experience within a Laboratory Supervisor/ Officer role.
Experience working with ICP-MS and XRF techniques is essential.
Background in manganese analysis is preferential.
Experience in managing ISO 17025 requirements.
Supports the Lab manager in the day to day safe and effective execution of the laboratory activities and responsibilities.
