Matric, Formal education would be an added advantage. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience
Two years' experience in a maintenance position.
Possession of a valid driver’s license would be an advantage.
Knowledge of maintenance practices, machine maintenance and good housekeeping practices.
Knowledge of health and safety hazards present within a factory environment and effective precautionary measures
Knowledge basic hydraulics and repairs, v-belt replacement, pneumatics and conveyor belt replacement.
Skill in operating and in making minor repairs on machines and equipment.
Must be willing work long hours and maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the Laundry Manager and Maintenance Manager
