Scope of Duties:
Plans supervise and monitor the maintenance and operation of all of Clients gas turbines and provide technical support, analysis, and troubleshooting

Duties Performed
a) Directs and supervises the activities of assigned personal in Gas Turbine Section, Performs supervisory functions at the level established by management.
b) Perform advanced maintenance management for all gas turbines; particularly frame 5 GE gas turbines.
c) Monitors the operational performance of the gas turbines, running parameters and auxiliaries operations from a safety and efficiency aspect, using the condition monitoring techniques. Coordinates and establish the relative CBM records and database. Perform vibration analysis and implement the monitoring program for both offline data and Bentley Nevada online data.
d) Directs, coordinate, hands on skills to perform the mechanical repair, overhaul, inspection activities, baroscopic inspection, online/offline washing, gas turbine alignment, and all auxiliary systems maintenance. Maintain the history maintenance records at CMMS database software (SAP)
e) Establish gas turbines tracking sheets relative to FFH (Factored Firing Hours) and plan the short term and long term inspection plan for each gas turbine
f) Coordinate with Materials Department to ensure adequate provision and availability of spare parts and to maintain the stock quantities. Establish the gas turbines spare parts management and interchangeability. Follow up the inventory safety stock quantities, min/max quantities, long lead items, and follow up with ADGAS Inventory and procurement. Follow up the FFH tracking sheets for the spare parts in the inventory and in the turbines as well.
g) Review maintenance procedures, job plans, standing instruction, operating manuals, and to update Clients manuals for safe maintenance and operation. Follow up with GT OEM the latest maintenance bulletins and update ADGAS procedures.
h) Initiate management of change for any required modification and assist Engineering department during study phase, HAZOP, and implementation. The modification shall be processed in line with ADGAS standards, International standards and OEM guidelines.
i) Prepare and plan in details all inspection activities, planned maintenance, major overhauls, and maintenance jobs during planned shutdowns and forced shutdowns. Define and follow up all required resources to perform the maintenance activities.
j) Provide technical support to Operations Division on all operational aspects of gas turbines and its auxiliaries. Assist during operational difficulties or when optimization of gas turbines is required. Perform all re-commissioning procedures and statuary safety checks following overhauls and repairs.
k) Directs and coordinates the job training programs and instruction of craftsmen and company trainees on the operation and maintenance of all gas turbines and its auxiliary systems.
l) Ensure that work reports for all normal, breakdown, and overhaul maintenance are processed and documented. Issue file notes to document any event or incidents.
m) Participates in the preparation of the annual revenue and capital budgets and exercise control over the section expenditure.
n) Provides opportunities for training and development of employees under his direction (with emphasis on UAE Nationals) and assesses their progress, this include on-the-job training, counselling and proper work delegation.
o) Participating in inspections and testing of equipment as required
p) Has regular contact at all levels from Supervisors to Section Heads with Operations and Maintenance Divisions
q) Has regular contact with the related Contractor and sub-contractors
r) Reports to Team Leader/Senior Rotating Machinery Engineer
s) Works independently and according to technical established procedures, professional Engineering standards
t) Completed work is subject general review by Team Leader/Senior Rotating Machinery Engineer

Minimum Requirements:
* BSc. In Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* 8 Years engineering & maintenance experience on Gas Turbine, including 5 years in a supervisory position.
* Good Knowledge of spoken and written English
* Good problem solving, decision making and analytical skill with attention to details
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office software, and other Company and discipline specific software applications

Remuneration Package:
* Salary is negotiable, with comprehensive benefits package.
* Leave Cycle: 35/28 (i.e. 35 working days on Das Island, followed by 28 days of leave) with economy class air ticket to point of origin.
