Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the training of the Distributor's Motor dealer network as well as Head Office staff as the need arises. The function forms a critical part of the sales cycle and therefore demands a high level of professionalism, technical and product knowledge

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Degree or National Diploma (would be an advantage)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in as a Trainer and/or Facilitator
• Motoring Industry experience (Would be and advantage)
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be willing to travel daily
• Must be willing to travel long distances from time-to-time (possible stay-over)


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct Newbie Training once a month.
• Conduct product training for new vehicle launches and ad hoc training requirements
• Competitor analysis for training purposes • Conduct assessments for training that has taken place
• Coaching of staff at dealership level
• Identifying training needs
• Planning and implementation of dealer visit schedule
• Maintenance of training material (feedback to Training and Development Manager)
• Inform the Training and Development manager on matters relating to non attendance of training sessions
• Completing and submitting of monthly reports and returns (coaching, training feedback and travel returns)
• Ensuring the trainee completes the training evaluation form immediately after training
• Monitor, assist and report on the trainees retention and use of product knowledge during the sales process
• Assisting clients and staff of Distributor with general product queries
