An integrated JSE-Listed Financial Service and Investment Group is looking for a qualified and experienced Admitted Attorney with 3-5 years’ experience in Legal, Risk and Compliance within the Financial Service Industry to join their Team.
The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of financial market legislation, primarily Cisca, FAIS & FICA, FSB circulars and notices.
Duties include the drafting and review of legal documents and agreements, advising on the impact of legislation on different business units, drafting legal opinions, legal risk management reporting and general legal advisor responsibilities. The position is varied and challenging and not limited to a straight task list. We are looking for an innovative and intelligent applicant with a passion for the work and willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business to ensure compliance to all relevant legislation across the business, its various departments and stakeholders. A committed person with drive, excellent presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate is required. Well-developed analytical and problem solving ability is essential.
