We’re a well-established law firm and we are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Legal Operations Manager to manage our High Volume Litigation department.
Key Performance areas:
Under the management / direction of the Director, the Legal Operations Manager will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):
• Collection of arrears accounts through the use of soft collection (Call Centre) and formal legal process (Litigation) in the High Volume Department
• Formal legal process will be managed in conjunction with senior attorney
• Management of staff within the High Volume Department (team currently consist of 6 people)
• Ensure/stimulate growth in capacity and output of the High Volume Department
• Managing dispute resolution process on disputed accounts
• Interpreting collection/productivity data in reports in order to discover trends and formulate strategies
• Oversee/manage accounting procedures
Requirements:
• Extensive Debt Collections Experience. Specifically large scale legal process management
• Previous experience as Operational Manager in a similar environment will be preferable
• Paralegal training/accreditation
• Basic business/management qualification
• Good understanding of the magistrate court system, rules and related credit legislation
• Proficient in MS Word/ MS Excel
• Criminal and Credit Clear
