Established firm of attorneys based in Cape Town has a vacancy for a Legal Secretary.
Minimum Requirements:
• Matric
• Fully bilingual
• Stable employment record – minimum of 5 years’ conveyancing experience
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent, fast and accurate typing skills
• Able to work independently or as a team
• Willing and eager to learn and grow within the position
Experience:
• Liaising with Deeds Office / Law Firms / Clients / Banks / Estate Agents - strong telephone etiquette.
• Experience in drafting Transfer documents
• Sectional title/Township experience advantageous.
• Experience in development transfers would be beneficial
• Experience in Ghostconvey, computer system.
• General Conveyancing secretarial duties
• Experience dealing with Bonds and cancellations for ABSA, Standard Bank, FNB, Nedbank and SA Home Loans will give you an advantage in your application.
