Our client is looking for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join their dynamic team.

Your 7 years Linux systems administration experience in an environment with at least 25 servers is a necessity with the relevant qualifications.


Minimum Requirements:
• Previously worked in an ISP / Telecommunications systems environment
• Designed and implemented a Linux based service involving at least 3 servers
• Troubleshooting, investigating and documenting of systems and services
• Experience with Openstack, Ceph, puppet & Cisco UCS based environments would be an added bonus
• Excellent bash, Perl & python scripting skills
• Core technologies mostly used in an ISP environments such as RADIUS, DNS, MAIL, LDAP, HTTP & FTP
• VoIP environments and technologies experience such as SIP & Asterisk
• IP networking and routing
• Proven Virtualisation experience in KVM, VMWare & Docker
• Database administration experience – MySQL & postgres
• High availability experience in heartbeat, corosync, HAProxy & drbd

Main duties/ responsibilities:
• Developing and maintaining Linux deployment standards, maintaining existing systems and implementing new technologies.
• Assisting with internal and external Web development efforts
• Planning for and performing backups, restores and disk imaging
