•Diploma/ Degree

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

• Proven experience as logistics coordinator (minimum 2-3 years)
• Computer skills a necessity, especially Microsoft Excel
• Must have an interst in logistics i.e. operations/ documentation/ systems
• Experience with logistics of fruit export will strengthen application

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Coordinate outbound logistics - Sea freight specific (all trades)
• Manage third party service providers' outputs, i.e. Freight Forwarders and Transporters
• Transport coordination - loadng and off-loading nationally of produce for exports
• Be available 24/7 on-call for transport queries and coordination decisions that need to be made
• Arrange inspections as needed
• Ensure accompanying docmentation for export is in order
• Manage and interact professionally with clients on logistic matters
• Administration handling of the export process and related documents, as well as the filing thereof
• System management (Navision):
- Data capturing (intakes and stock for loadouts)
- Processing of mates and electornic data
- Generating of Logistical Documentation (e.g. Vessel Manifests; Invoices; Addendums)
- Liasing with third parties regarding electronic data/ queries
- Keeping data integrity

Remuniration: Market related salary, aligned to qualifications and experience, offered
