Our Client, A well known Company within the Wine Industry, requires a Logistics Coordinator to join their operation in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, self motivated, competent and able to work independently and accurately. The candidate will also need to have a strong personality and good managing skills to work with a team of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookings and scheduling of on-site bottling line.
• Stock management and control. 
• Arranging and monitoring deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate logs of all transportation and goods. (Reception of wine and dry goods)
• Organizing the handling and processing of the wine.
• Product quality control on on-site processes.
• Monthly SARS and SAWIS declarations.
• Health and safety training and control on-site.
• Arranging temporary staff when needed.

Requirements

The ideal candidate:

• Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Must be able to work independently in a responsible manner and as part of a team in a fast paced and pressured environment, communicating effectively with both colleagues and clients and following verbal and written instructions.
• Must have sound organizational skills to manage personnel.
• General cellar hygiene and primary wine production knowledge would be advantageous
• You must be able to operate Microsoft Office and be familiar with any other software pertinent to the industry.
• Must ensure that quality assurance checks are completed and maintained.
• Must possess a valid driver’s licence.
• Must have own reliable transport.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
