Title: Logistics Manager

Reporting to: Director/General Manager

Co-ordinate / complete the following:
• Log data related to logistic administration into company systems, being precise with Serial Numbers and Model Codes
• Scanning product images and updating databases into respective systems
• Perform general procurement, order processing and dispatching duties
• Interact with suppliers in respect of collections and deliveries
• Prepare delivery records to ensure timely deliveries and collections
• Perform administrative duties (including documents distribution/collection/filling)
• Compile non-conformance report and expedite on closing of product discrepancy
• Maintain and update stock inventory records and location of goods
• Other related logistics duties as assigned
• Performing stock reconciliation and monthly stock takes
• Managing deliveries and collections
• Ensuring that the vehicles are maintained
• Providing updates to sales staff on orders from suppliers

Qualifications and Experience:

1 Matric (with exemption - university entrance)
2 Computer literate with sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
3 Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics and procurement
4 University Degree / 3 year post-matric diploma/ qualification in logistics
5 Excellent knowledge of operations, procurement, logistics and reverse logistics.
6 Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle
7 Experience within the logistics in the IT industry would be beneficial

Salary Range: R10 000.00 – R20 000.00 Basic + Medical aid (payable in full by company after 1 year of service)
