Logistics Material Planner
My client is looking for a Logistics Material Planner.

Duties:
? Download customer demands from customer portals and evaluate for any fluctuations
? Import customer demand and run material requirements planning using Syspro.
? Review releases and publish using auto EDI.
? Create and maintain stock codes and bill of materials in Syspro.
? Maintain stock values and update scrap quantities.
? Update and verify rebate register data to comply with SARS legal requirements.
? Complete and update daily task and responsibility list.
? Update customer demand forecast for Finance department.
? Liaise with forwarding agent and confirm daily deliveries and shipping information.
? Daily communication with suppliers to discuss and monitor supply to the company. Escalate to Management any concerns or short supply of components.
? Report critical loose parts in morning meetings and inform estimated time of arrival.
? Attend bi-weekly change control meetings and update Syspro and Visuals with changes.
? Procurement of parts in the most economical manner to minimize airfreight.
? Assist with stock take if and when required.
? Any ad hoc duties required.

Education & Experience
? Grade 12 / standard 10 and relevant diplomas.
? Min 3 years in Material Requirement Planning
? Min 3 years in Bond Store control and management.
? Min 3 years’ experience in SARS legal requirements and procedure.
? High level of MS Office applications.
? Syspro – MRP & Auto EDI
? Good communication skills
? SARS legal requirements for Bond Store.
? Customs tariff headings and Incoterms.
