LOGISTICS OFFICER / MANAGER

Excellent opportunity for a young professional to grow one’s career in a successful local clothing company based in Cape Town, specializing in technical / outdoor wear. A love for the outdoors and nature is a must.

This newly created role will ideally suit a graduate preferably with 2 + years’ relevant work experience, strong numerical/mathematical abilities and knowledge of logistics management.

The successful incumbent will put in the systems that manage and control the supply chain….improve margins and the stock levels held; manage the flow process to facilitate the overall growth of the business.

The successful candidate will have a proactive approach, be a team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

You understand logarithms and are very able to suggest ways of improving systems to maximize efficiency. This position forms part of the Executive Committee and there is an opportunity for growth as once systems, procedures and processes are in place there will also be management of staff i.e. oversee the sales, production and dispatch departments and further organic growth potential.

Requirements :
• Logistics degree or B Com, specializing in Logistics
• Residing in Southern Suburbs or surrounds
• Own transport preferable

Salary R15 000 – R20 000 pm : dep on experience and qualifications
