Logistics Operations Supervisor (Strong IT Experience Required) – PMB
Suitable candidate must come from a logistics background
Salary – R16 000 CTC
Duties:
• To ensure upkeep of accurate transactional data in the Plato Database, any issues picked up needs to be corrected in real time,
• To perform weekly maintenance of the SQL Database (Purging)
• To collaborate with the Operations department to ensure the system is kept up to date by the responsible parties
• Liaise with the OPSI systems, communicating clearly and effectively any requirements or issues with the system from a technical point of view
• Provide training and continued technical support to the operations department and external customers
• The addition of new vehicles, customers and sites to the database
• The addition of sites will include accurate geo-coding
• Inputting of information concerning, trailer size restrictions and trailer weight restrictions for all trailer sizes
• Ensuring that the customer sites are setup correctly in regard to loading windows and trailer restrictions
• ISO 9001-2015 commitment to taking a lead role to ensure world class progression
• Embracing self-training needs as well as the needs of the staff within the department
• Ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:
• Qualifications or experience with SQL would be advantageous
• The ability to use your own discretion to solve simple to complex processes
• Some knowledge of working with track and trace systems would be desired
• Competent and efficient in various WMS software packages – Accellos / SAP
• Matric
• Strong I.T knowledge and exposure
• Relevant tertiary qualification or studying towards one would be advantageous
• Working experience in a similar environment would be advantageous
