West Coast Company looking for a Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities.
Reporting to the Warehouse Responsible you will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. The goal is to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations

Requirements:
• Warehouse Systems knowledge a must, SAP beneficial
• Minimum 3 years logistics experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Minimum Grade 12 but any relevant logistical or warehouse courses will be beneficial.

Responsibilities:
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
• Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance.
• Communicate job expectations and coach employees
• Interface with production to answer questions or solve problems, determine staffing levels and assign workload.
• Interface and confer for coordinating activities with Production and all Storeman in charge, to answer questions or solve problems
• Maintain records, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
• Identify areas of improvement and put in practice all procedures established by the company.
• Maintain the security and Environmental, Health and Safety program designed to ensure the safety of all associates within the work place
• Determines responsibilities to each Storeman to accomplish business objectives
• Ensure that physical condition of the warehouse is being maintained through appropriate cleaning policies, and coordinating with facilities.
• Daily communicating with the warehouse Responsible all management keeping and informed all operations required are doing on time as needed.
• Be flexible and have ability to manage the change.
• Confidence and proactivity, able to motivate and drive employees to perform.
• Maintain a positive attitude to continued learning.
• Have the ability to solve problems and make decisions in consultation with the superior.
