Our client in the automotive component manufacturing industry is looking to employ a Logistics Team Leader with a valid hyster licence

Minimum requriements:

NQF 4 qualification / Matric
2. At least 2-3 years working in Logistics Department
3. Experience in automotive environment (advantageous)
4. Initiative, self-starter with high energy levels
5. Good computer skills – MS Word; MS Excel and Email
6. Ability to handle pressure
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Good analytical ability
9. Valid Hyster License
10. Strong organization skills
11. Knowledge of BAAN will be advantageous
12. Be prepared to work shifts / weekends when required

Duties

Ensure that clients have the stock required
2. Responsible for all Customers dispatching and receiving
3. Daily cycle counts on raw material and on finished goods
4. Supervising of Logistics & Production hyster drivers
5. Ensure that correct documentation is used
6. Report counts internally and to the customer
7. Ensure that All material has been transferred between Rebate and WIP warehouses
8. Part take in annual stock take
9. Ensuring effective communication between stores and other departments
10. Follow and perform the Weekly Action Plan
11. Willing to work shifts / weekends as per customer requirements
12. Updated on system raw material stock on hand for reordering point
13. Ensure that Raw material stock is available on system for finished goods to be back flushed

R78.59 per hour based on knowledge, experience and skills
