Maintenance Manager
Overview:
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for all maintenance of open cast, trackless and plant equipment.
Duties:
? Continuous improvement of plant reliability and availability performance with the ultimate goal of improving of Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
? Effective organizational development, which includes development and performance management of sub-ordinates and department as a whole
? Manage the plant maintenance budget and organisation to ensure effective plant performance at the lowest sustainable cost.
? Ensure high level of technical problem solving and precision maintenance execution.
? Ensure effective use of best practices in maintenance management e.g. work management (planning), precision maintenance and predictive maintenance.
? Development and execution of the plant Capex plan.
Qualifications and Skills:
? A tertiary qualification in engineering, B. Eng. and
? A Government Certificate of Competence (Mining).
? Minimum 8 years’ experience in the open cast mining or similar heavy industry
? Proven experience in management of maintenance and project activities in heavy industry.
