RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (FMCG INDUSTRY) for a national company, position based in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
N4, or above, technical qualification (preferably mechanical) would be an advantage.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Responsible for the maintenance of filling machines and other equipment as well as other maintenance related tasks.
Candidate must have a proven track record of working on filling machines in an FMCG environment.
Filling machine maintenance experience is essential.
An understanding of any of the following areas would be necessary - filling machinery, food and beverage industry, pneumatics, machine electricals, machine mechanics, PLC’s.
Applicants must be prepared to work shifts/overtime, public holidays and weekends when required.
There is scope for growth for candidates in this role who display the right aptitude and reliability.
Person should preferably live in the KwaZulu-Natal area and be available to start immediately.
