A Maintenance Technician is required at a FMCG company in Johannesburg.

Qualifications and experience:
? Qualified Millwright/ Fitter and Turner with electrical and pneumatic knowledge/qualification preferably with PLC systems
? At least 5 years experience in maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment
? Preferably experience with fast moving packaging equipment

Key areas of responsibility will include:
? Performs maintenance operations to ensure adequate production plant and equipment availability
? Responsible for the maintenance of the production plant including the functions of labeling machines, Piston fillers, bulk mixing, tank storage, product filling and gassing, testing, packaging and utilities
? Ensures that all systems are adhered to ie. Job cards, change-over, preventative maintenance schedule etc.
? Train setters and machine specific operators
? Assists with installations and/or modifications to equipment
? Breakdowns
? Assists with installations and modifications to equipment or services as necessary
