My client is a leading NetSuite Solution Provider with over 10 years’ experience of selling, implementing and developing within the NetSuite cloud business management suite. They are seeking a skilled and experienced NetSuite Technical Consultant. Your role will be to work directly with the company’s customers to understand their business requirements and design and build solutions for these using NetSuite’s SuiteCloud platform and other integrating technologies.

Our ideal candidate possesses a combination of strong development background, excellent analytical skills, good customer-facing skills, a solid understanding of business systems and existing NetSuite experience. Strong project management skills are also required as you will plan, schedule and manage your own workload with the company’s customers.

Reporting to the Development Team Lead, the duties and responsibilities of this role include:

? Work with customers to understand business and systems needs.
? Design, specify, document and agree solutions to these needs.
? Develop solutions using the full range of NetSuite SuiteCloud technologies, including server-side scripting and workflows.
? Test, document and deploy these solutions with customers.
? Source, understand and integrate third-party tools and systems.
? Provide end-user training on solutions.
? Manage the delivery of multiple simultaneous projects with the company’s customers.
? Produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the delivery process from analysis through to design and delivery.
? Build project plans including activities, sub-activities, and milestones and ensure these are documented and used as the basis for subsequent reporting.
? Ensure awareness, involvement and support from key stakeholders and participants by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communication on project status during delivery.
? Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and drive all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards.
? Work closely with colleagues and third-parties when required.
? Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress.
? Provide regular and effective progress updates to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues.
? Maintain high standards of software quality by following company development standards.
? Contribute to post implementation reviews helping to demonstrate success or otherwise of projects.

The successful applicant will have:

Essential

? Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics or 7+ years hands on experience
? Knowledge of transactional business processing, including accounting principles
? Experience in requirements gathering, specification, development planning & project management.
? Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? 3+ yrs of software development experience

Desired

? An aptitude and desire for learning new technologies
? Deep understanding and 2+ yrs solid experience of Javascript, especially server-side
? HTML and CSS experience.
? Experience with development in an ERP/CRM environment preferably on a cloud-based platform
? Understanding of design patterns
? Experience in database and UI design
? Skilled in integration approaches and strategies, with XML, web services and JSON experience
? A self-starter with solid real-world experience in application design and development

You will be required to evidence these requirements during the application process.

There will be a requirement to travel nationally and possibly internationally but the majority of work will be performed remotely from your home office.
