Information Processing and Control
Assume full responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of the monthly trading results of the plant
Prepare the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
Manage working capital in the business
Reporting
Provide insight into variances compared to the budget and prior year and be able to comment of the reasons for the differences
Prepare all required management and head office reporting
Provide other financial reporting and insight to assist plant management in running the business (sales, factory performance etc.)
Governance and Control
Manage the internal and external audits
Manage the accounting outsource service provider (PG Shared Services) to ensure the service provided is accurate and complete
Other
Implement an absorption costing system using SAP to measure monthly variances to standard
Conduct performance management for all finance staff
Proficient in SAP, BW and Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Must establish a good working relationship with people at all levels of the business
Good at working to deadlines
Good planning and organising skills
Good problem solving ability
Degree in Accounting (or related qualification)
Costing accounting or related experience
SAP and Excel experience is an advantage
Manufacturing experience is an advantage
