Job Description:

Master data maintenance
Manage monthly inventory counts
Manage creditors by overseeing two creditors clerks
Assist business units with the processing of journals
Reconciliation of Chevron account
Reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly review of income statements
Reconciliation of HP’s and monthly posting of accrued interest
Updating of fixed asset register and posting of depreciation
Account for lease straight lining
Provide and reconcile insurance premiums
Provide and reconcile audit fees
Provide and reconcile deferred income and expenses
Assist with completion of VAT return
Assist with monthly reporting
Assist with preparation of annual budgets
Assist with BBBEE audits

Qualifications:

BCom accounting degree
Completed articles
2 to 3 years’ experience in management accountant position
Proficient with Microsoft excel and word
Experience working on Evolution beneficial but not required
Self-starter with ability to work under pressure
Adherence and enforcer of deadlines and processes
Detail orientated
Willingness to work longer hours when required
