Our Client a well known Luxury Guest House in Pretoria (30 keys), is urgently recruiting for the services and commitment of a young well experienced Guest House Manager. Candidates should have a very strong Front Office / Rooms Division background and past experience in smaller full service Boutique Hotels, Guest Houses and Lodges would be a benifit. The Guest House F&B operations are reasonably busy and a Breakfast Lunch and Dinner Service is provided. This in turn requires the successful Candidate , to have a good understanding of F&B operations and how they integrate with the rest of the Guest House in order to maintain the anticipated high standards required for this operation. It is prefered that candidates should reside currently in Pretoria and have a strong understanding of hospitality operations and trends in the Pretoria Market.The suitable candidate will be taking full responsibility for the property's day to day operations, budgets and profitability by effectively planning, leading, organising and controlling all aspects of strategy, marketing, budgets, finances, standards and maintenance.Remuneration

Job Specific Requirements• Critical success factors of the Hospitality Industry,and previous experience would be a distinct advantage and deciding factor.• In-depth knowledge of Rooms Division ( more particularly) and Food & Beverage Departments;• In-depth knowledge of Yield and Revenue Management;• Understanding of Hospitality Industry Ratio’s;• Working knowledge of Human Resource Policies and Practices;• Working knowledge of legislation applicable to the Hospitality Industry;• Understanding of Marketing, Sales and channel principles and processes;• Working knowledge of financial and administrative Principles;• Working knowledge of POS and PMS systems - Opera & Micros or similar• Basic understanding of IT, AV & Telecommunications software & hardware systems;• Knowledge of Diverse Cultures.
