Requirements
• B IT or BTech degree.
• Essential: Post degree qualifications in management.
• 4 Years management experience.
• 10 Years software testing experience matching ISTQB areas of testing.
• Essential: Technical test automation knowledge (5 years).
• Essential: Programming skills: Java/Oracle.
• Business process optimization: Testing and integration, etc.( 5 years).
• Analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
• High quality results and delivery focus whilst maintaining a motivated team climate.
• Interfacing, facilitation, demonstration skills.
• Presentation skills.
• Take Initiative and a Self-starter.
• Good communication skills.
• Creative thinking.
• Accuracy.
• South African Citizenship is a key requirement for this position.
Responsibilities:
• Direct line management of software test and integration team.
• Recruitment, training, career planning, and performance management of testing and integration team members.
• Management of all project test execution for software systems, software products and modules.
• Facilitate two way communications on technical level between development team, product engineers and testing team architects to record testing requirements.
• Coordinate team activities closely with the software project managers to control: cost, quality, time scales, resource utilisation and reach user expectations.
• Keep the testing team on track, resolve conflicting priorities and motivate the team.
• Be the voice of the testing and integration team.
• Communicate correct detail with internal/external customers on software testing status.
• Coordinate testing work with development management function for optimal throughput.
• Optimise testing and integration and administrative processes to reach departmental performance requirements.
